Participants will gain foundational knowledge in the following areas:
Understanding and utilizing securement devices
Correct techniques for wheelchair securement
Operating wheelchair lifts or ramps
Ensuring passenger safety and fostering sensitivity.
Book instructional session for in-person demonstrations conducted on a model or vehicle.
REQUIRED for public transportation, NEMT, specialized transportation, and other drivers who interact with the general public on a daily basis.
Explores the impact that past traumatic events can have on individuals.
Discuss and train on how those impacts may play out in a transportation setting.
Shapes the learners into being prepared for real world situations that require quick thinking, respect, and safety measures.
